Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV), 51-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Woodrow Wilson upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Flying Eagles travel to Princeton (Princeton, WV) to play the Tigers in a Freelance bout on Saturday, February 10. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Princeton lost 66-51 in their recent league bout against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV)

Next up, the Beavers play the Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Bluefield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record.
