Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones (Clark, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD), 69-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clark/Willow Lake upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Cyclones host Flandreau (Flandreau, SD) to clash with the Fliers in a A Region 2 bout on Saturday, February 10. The Fliers go into the bout with a record of 18-0. Flandreau won 65-46 in their recent non-league bout against Lyman (Presho, SD)

Next up, the Braves clash with the Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Britton-Hecla will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 44-36 non-league loss to Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD).
