In Thursday's non-league outing, the Carrizozo Grizzlies (Carrizozo, NM) basketball squad edged the host Lake Arthur Panthers (Lake Arthur, NM), by a count of 38-33.
The Grizzlies (6-16) will now prepare for their outing against Mountainair (Mountainair, NM). The Mustangs go into the A District 3 outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Mountainair was tipped by Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM), 48-29, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 0-14 record. They play next when they host Floyd for a non-league outing on Friday, February 16.
