The College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals basketball team (Jamestown, NC), was nudged 31-26 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC)

The Bulldogs now possess a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Davidson for a 1A/2A Central Carolina battle on Tuesday, February 13. Thomasville will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 75-37 league win over South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 11-11.

The Royals (0-17) will now prepare for their battle against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC). The Cardinals come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont battle with a 1-14 record. In their last battle, Cornerstone Charter was nudged by Carver (Winston-Salem, NC), 46-23, in a league battle.
