The Colts Neck Cougars basketball team (Colts Neck, NJ), was overwhelmed 61-15 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ)
The Lancers now possess a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Bank Regional for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. St. John-Vianney will confront a Bucs team coming off a 47-44 non-league win over Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ). The Bucs record now stands at 13-7.
The Cougars (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Hornets come into the Shore A - Central battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Holmdel was overwhelmed by St. Rose (Belmar, NJ), 56-33, in a non-league battle.
