The Elmwood Royals basketball team (Bloomdale, OH), was nudged 38-36 in Thursday's league battle with the host Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH)

The Black Knights now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Miller City for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. Van Buren will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 54-44 non-league loss to Jefferson (Delphos, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-7.
