The Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL), 59-35 in Thursday's league test.
The Royal Lions (8-18) will now prepare for their test against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 5-22 record. In their last test, North Boone was trounced by Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL), 52-22, in a league test.
The Cogs now own a 12-16 record. They play next when they travel to Johnsburg for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. Genoa-Kingston will encounter a Skyhawks squad coming off a 61-21 league win over Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Skyhawks record now stands at 15-11.
