Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Glen Allen Jaguars (Glen Allen, VA), 66-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highland Springs upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Springers host Varina (Richmond, VA) to play the Blue Devils in a Capital bout on Friday, February 9. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-16. Varina lost 53-47 in their recent league bout against Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA) in a Colonial bout, on Friday, February 9. Glen Allen will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 42-38 league win over Hermitage (Richmond, VA).
