The Kittatinny Regional Cougars basketball team (Newton, NJ), was nudged 63-57 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ)
The Rangers now possess a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vernon for a non-league battle on Friday, February 9. Wallkill Valley will battle a Vikings team coming off a 57-30 league win over Hopatcong (Hopatcong, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 12-7.
The Cougars (12-11) will now prepare for their battle against Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 5-15 record.
