Ohio High School Basketball - National Trail knocked off by Newton Local

The Newton Local Indians basketball team scored 40 points and held the host National Trail Blazers to 20 in the Indians league triumph on Thursday.
The Indians now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houston for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Newton Local will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 51-37 league loss to Jackson Center (Jackson Center, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-15.
The Blazers (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH). The Panthers enter the Western Ohio contest with a 0-20 record.
