In Thursday's league outing, the Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pine Tree Academy Breakers (Freeport, ME), by a margin of 85-27.
The Cavaliers (18-0) will now prepare for their outing against Telstar (Bethel, ME). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 7-11 record. In their last outing, Telstar was trounced by Winthrop (Winthrop, ME), 45-32, in a non-league outing.
The Breakers now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Forest Hills for a non-league outing on Monday, February 19. Pine Tree Academy will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 54-13 league win over North Haven (North Haven, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 13-5.
