In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Vistamar Vikings.
The Aztec Eagles (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy nudged Lynwood (Lynwood, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
