California High School Soccer - Poly held off by South

The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) and the host Poly Bears (Riverside, CA), saw South's soccer squad get by Poly by a count of 2-1.
The Spartans now hold a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Quartz Hill for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. South will meet a Royals squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Knight (Palmdale, CA). The Royals record now stands at 23-1.
With the loss, Poly drops to 11-11 on the season.
