Virginia High School Basketball - Steward crushes Peninsula Catholic

February 8, 2024: Richmond, VA 23238

Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA), 60-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Steward upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Spartans host Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-7.

Next up, the Knights play the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Peninsula Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Seahawks go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 60-39 non-league loss to Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA).
