The Peachtree Ridge Lions smashed the visiting Islands Sharks soccer squad by a margin of 5-1 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Collins Hill for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 13. Peachtree Ridge will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Lowndes (Valdosta, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Islands drops to 1-1 on the season. The Sharks travel to Seckinger (Buford, GA) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league match on Saturday, February 10.
