In Saturday's non-league test, the Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL) basketball squad knocked off the host St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL), by a score of 53-45.

Next, the Trojans encounter the New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL) in a Sangamo test, on Tuesday, February 11. Auburn will attempt to improve on its 24-2 season record. The Pretzels come into the test with a 9-12 record after their 51-36 non-league loss to Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL).

The Spartans (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Eagles come into the Illini Prairie test with a 13-13 record. In their last test, Rantoul went down by Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL), 55-35, in a non-league test.
