The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY) and the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), observed Augusta's basketball team knock off Harrison County by a score of 67-49.

The Panthers (15-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvary Christian (Covington, KY). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 12-12 record. In their last challenge, Calvary Christian prevailed over Frankfort Christian Academy (Frankfort, KY), 79-57, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thorobreds encounter the Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Harrison County will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 72-44 non-league win over Kentucky Country Day (Louisville, KY).
