The Blackwell Maroons basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Pawnee Black Bears to 54 in the Maroons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Maroons now have a 9-12 record. They play next when they host Chisholm for a 89er - West game on Monday, February 10. Blackwell will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 65-62 league loss to Fairview (Fairview, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 10-12.

With the loss, Pawnee falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Black bears travel to Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK) to confront the Buccaneers in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Buccaneers go into the game with a record of 11-10.
