Kentucky High School Basketball - Metcalfe County knocks off Campbellsville

February 8, 2025: Edmonton, KY 42129

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Metcalfe County Hornets basketball squad scored a nice 70-55 victory over the Campbellsville Eagles.

With the victory, Metcalfe County advances its record to 8-15 on the year. The Hornets travel to Barren County (Glasgow, KY) to meet the Trojans in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 16-10. Barren County lost 69-43 in their recent non-league battle against Adair County (Columbia, KY)

The Eagles now own a 2-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taylor County for a District 20 battle on Monday, February 10.
