Nebraska High School Basketball - Gering bests Chase County

The Gering Bulldogs basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Chase County Longhorns to 39 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they host McCook for a B District 8 game on Friday, February 14. Gering will confront a Bison team coming off a 73-48 non-league win over Alliance (Alliance, NE). The Bison record now stands at 14-6.

In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Chase County will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 14-5 record after their 61-46 non-league win over Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE).
