The Luverne Tigers (Luverne, AL) basketball were winner over the host Chickasaw Chieftains (Chickasaw, AL), 71-52 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Abbeville for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 12. Luverne will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 54-42 non-league win over Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 23-3.
With the loss, Chickasaw falls to 11-13 on the campaign.
