Illinois High School Basketball - Evanston overwhelms De La Salle

February 8, 2025: Chicago, IL 60616

The Evanston Wildkits basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host De La Salle Meteors to 27 in the Wildkits non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildkits now have a 23-4 record. They play next when they host New Trier for a Central Suburban - South game on Tuesday, February 11. Evanston will confront a Trevians team coming off a 57-47 league loss to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Trevians record now stands at 19-9.

With the loss, De La Salle falls to 14-13 on the campaign. The Meteors host DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL) to confront the Rams in a Chicago Catholic - Blue game on Tuesday, February 11. The Rams go into the game with a record of 24-3. DePaul College Prep won 60-58 in their recent league game against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL)
