Colorado High School Basketball - Douglas County nips Glenwood Springs

February 8, 2025: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Douglas County Huskies basketball team scored a close 57-51 win over the Glenwood Springs Demons.

The Huskies (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Ponderosa (Parker, CO). The Mustangs come into the 6A/5A Continental contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Ponderosa was tipped by Castle View (Castle Rock, CO), 61-54, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Demons battle the Basalt Longhorns (Basalt, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Glenwood Springs will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Longhorns come into the contest with a 8-9 record after their 58-45 league loss to Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO).
