The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Port Huron Northern Huskies (Port Huron, MI) and the visiting Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI), observed Port Huron Northern's basketball team edge Hamady by a margin of 66-63.
The Huskies (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Fitzgerald (Warren, MI). The Spartans come into the Macomb Area - White challenge with a 15-3 record. In their last challenge, Fitzgerald edged Heritage (Saginaw, MI), 49-47, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Goodrich Martians (Goodrich, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 10. Hamady will attempt to better on its 15-2 season record. The Martians come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 70-46 league win over Lake Fenton (Linden, MI).
