Illinois High School Basketball - Illini Central knocked off by St. Thomas More

In Saturday's non-league test, the St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL), by a score of 55-36.

Next, the Sabers encounter the Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL) in a Illini Prairie test, on Tuesday, February 11. St. Thomas More will attempt to improve on its 10-16 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 11-12 record after their 60-35 non-league win over Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL).

The Cougars (13-12) will now prepare for their test against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans come into the Sangamo test with a 8-15 record. In their last test, Olympia was knocked off by Pontiac (Pontiac, IL), 59-28, in a non-league test.
