The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL) and the visiting Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL), observed Mt. Zion's basketball team knock off Jacksonville by a score of 71-61.

The Braves (18-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Charleston (Charleston, IL). The Trojans come into the Apollo challenge with a 10-16 record.

In their next game, the Crimsons encounter the Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL) in a Central State Eight challenge, on Friday, February 14. Jacksonville will attempt to improve on its 9-17 season record.
