Indiana High School Basketball - Jennings County can't get by Providence

Providence Pioneers (Clarksville, IN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN), 63-59 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Providence advances its record to 14-2 on the year. The Pioneers travel to New Albany (New Albany, IN) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, February 14. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 14-2.

The Panthers now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brownstown Central for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. Jennings County will meet a Braves squad coming off a 67-31 non-league win over Columbus East (Columbus, IN). The Braves record now stands at 16-0.
