The Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL) basketball edged the visiting Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL), 61-57 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 14-12 record. They play next when they travel to Carbon Hill for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 12. Rogers will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 74-48 non-league win over Sheffield (Sheffield, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 27-5.
With the loss, Locust Fork falls to 19-6 on the campaign.
