Illinois High School Basketball - St. Laurence sneaks past Marmion

The St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) basketball edged the visiting Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), 56-49 in Saturday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Brother Rice for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 12. St. Laurence will play a Crusaders team coming off a 58-21 non-league win over St. Rita (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 22-1.

With the loss, Marmion falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Cadets host Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to play the Celtics in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Celtics go into the bout with a record of 1-5.
