The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD) and the host Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD), observed Beresford's basketball team knock off Alcester-Hudson by a score of 49-33.
The Watchdogs (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Blue Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, Garretson was knocked off by McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD), 61-30, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cubs encounter the Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 15. Alcester-Hudson will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record.
