Ohio High School Basketball - Circleville bests Athens

February 8, 2025: The Plains, OH 45780

The Circleville Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Athens Bulldogs to 39 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now possess a 18-3 record. They play next when they host Unioto for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Circleville will play a Shermans team coming off a 81-32 league win over Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH). The Shermans record now stands at 17-4.

With the loss, Athens falls to 17-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 12. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 1-21. Chillicothe lost 58-14 in their recent non-league game against Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH)
