In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Big Walnut Golden Eagles basketball team scored a close 52-47 triumph over the Bishop Watterson Eagles.
The Golden Eagles (17-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dublin Scioto (Dublin, OH). The Irish go into the Ohio Capital - Capital contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Dublin Scioto was tipped by Hayes (Delaware, OH), 44-37, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Hilliard Bradley Jaguars (Hilliard, OH) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 12. Bishop Watterson will attempt to better on its 12-9 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 10-10 record after their 52-38 league loss to Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH).
