Pacific Collegiate Pumas (Santa Cruz, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Burlingame Panthers (Burlingame, CA), 47-45 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Pacific Collegiate advances its record to 6-9 on the year. The Pumas travel to St. Francis (Watsonville, CA) to face the Sharks in a PCAL - Cypress match on Thursday, February 13. The Sharks enter the match with a record of 19-2.

The Panthers now own a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Mateo for a Peninsula - Ocean match on Tuesday, February 11. Burlingame will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 60-35 league win over Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA). The Bearcats record now stands at 18-4.
