Colorado High School Basketball - Castle View overwhelms Ponderosa

February 8, 2025: Castle Rock, CO 80109

The Castle View Sabercats basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Ponderosa Mustangs to 22 in the Sabercats league triumph on Saturday.

The Sabercats now possess a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Chaparral for a 6A/5A Continental game on Wednesday, February 12. Castle View will play a Wolverines team coming off a 62-34 league win over Heritage (Littleton, CO). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Ponderosa falls to 3-16 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO) to play the Huskies in a 6A/5A Continental game on Tuesday, February 11. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 3-15. Douglas County lost 49-47 in their recent non-league game against Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO)
