Virginia High School Basketball - Central Wise knocks off Virginia High

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Central Wise Warriors basketball team scored a good 58-40 win over the Virginia High Bearcats.
The Warriors (21-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA). The Wolfpack come into the Mountain contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Ridgeview defeated Abingdon (Abingdon, VA), 57-37, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Virginia High will attempt to better on its 9-13 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 5-14 record after their 57-37 league loss to Gate City (Gate City, VA).
