The Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) basketball were winner over the visiting Danville Christian Academy Warriors (Danville, KY), 53-45 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Jaguars now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Newport Central Catholic for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. Cooper will play a Thoroughbreds team coming off a 54-50 non-league loss to Holy Cross (Covington, KY). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 14-12.
The Warriors (18-7) will now prepare for their outing against Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Rebels enter the District 45 outing with a 11-9 record. In their last outing, Boyle County ran past Garrard County (Lancaster, KY), 59-52, in a league outing.
