The Cumberland Dukes were victorious over the visiting Rappahannock Raiders basketball squad by a final score of 33-24 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Dukes clash with the Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA) in a James River outing, on Monday, February 10. Cumberland will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 21-0 record after their 64-33 league win over Buckingham (Buckingham, VA).
The Raiders (4-12) will now prepare for their outing against Essex (Tappahannock, VA). The Trojans enter the Northern Neck outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Essex ran past Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA), 57-49, in a non-league outing.
