Ohio High School Basketball - West Branch knocks off Girard

February 8, 2025: Girard, OH 44420

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting West Branch Warriors basketball team scored a good 40-25 win over the Girard Indians.

The Warriors (19-2) will now prepare for their contest against Howland (Warren, OH). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Howland defeated Marlington (Alliance, OH), 56-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH) in a Northeast Eight contest, on Monday, February 10. Girard will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 11-10 record after their 66-49 non-league loss to Columbiana (Columbiana, OH).
