In Saturday's non-league test, the Rugby Panthers (Rugby, ND) basketball squad defeated the host Grafton Spoilers (Grafton, ND), by a score of 54-42.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers (Des Lacs, ND) in a A Region 3 test, on Monday, February 10. Rugby will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Lakers come into the test with a 14-5 record after their 76-44 league loss to South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND).

The Spoilers (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Thompson (Thompson, ND). The Tommies come into the A Region 2 test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Thompson overcame Carrington (Carrington, ND), 62-39, in a league test.
