The Jefferson City Jays basketball team scored 91 points and limited the visiting Lutheran Cougars to 34 in the Jays non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Jays now have a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Capital City for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Jefferson City will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 45-38 non-league loss to St. Elizabeth (St. Elizabeth, MO). The Cavaliers record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Lutheran falls to 15-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host Cor Jesu Academy (St. Louis, MO) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 12-4. Cor Jesu Academy won 43-38 in their recent non-league game against Webster Groves (Webster Groves, MO)
