Iowa High School Basketball - Newton routs Lincoln

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Newton Cardinals basketball team scored a big 65-35 win over the Lincoln Railsplitters.

The Cardinals (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Warriors come into the Little Hawkeye contest with a 18-1 record. In their last contest, Norwalk smashed Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA), 70-63, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Railsplitters battle the Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Lincoln will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Bobcats come into the contest with a 7-14 record after their 55-10 non-league win over Des Moines North (Des Moines, IA).
