The Plainfield North Tigers basketball squad (Plainfield, IL), was nudged 44-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL)
With the victory, Metea Valley advances its record to 8-20 on the year. The Mustangs travel to DeKalb (DeKalb, IL) to meet the Barbs in a DuPage Valley battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Barbs enter the battle with a record of 18-9.
The Tigers now own a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bolingbrook for a SouthWest Prairie - West battle on Tuesday, February 11. Plainfield North will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 58-49 league loss to Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 18-10.
