In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Princeton Tigers basketball team scored a good 49-39 triumph over the Montgomery Cougars.

The Tigers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, South Brunswick topped Lawrence (Lawrenceville, NJ), 49-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Montgomery will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 55-17 non-league loss to Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ).
