The Kinston Vikings basketball team scored 34 points and limited the host New Hanover Wildcats to 13 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now have a 5-5 record.

With the loss, New Hanover falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 0-6. West Brunswick lost 38-23 in their recent non-league game against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)
