In Saturday's non-league test, the Jeffers Jets (Painesdale, MI) ice hockey squad bounced the visiting Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI), by a tally of 10-5.
Next, the Jets face the Gaylord Blue Devils (Gaylord, MI) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 14. Jeffers will attempt to improve on its 17-3 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 1-20 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Petoskey (Petoskey, MI).
The Flying G's (17-5) will now prepare for their game against Garber (Essexville, MI). The Dukes enter the non-league game with a 16-6 record. In their last game, Garber held off Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI), 4-3, in a non-league game.
