The Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks (Saratoga Springs, NY) ice hockey the visiting Saranac Spartans (Saranac, NY), 5-1 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Blue Streaks (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen go into the Division 1 contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Shenendehowa edged South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY), 4-1, in a league contest.

Saranac will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 6-2 league loss to Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY).
