North Carolina High School Basketball - New Hanover routs Kinston

February 8, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28401

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host New Hanover Wildcats basketball team scored a big 51-24 triumph over the Kinston Vikings.

The Wildcats (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, West Brunswick smashed North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 66-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Kinston will attempt to better on its 12-6 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 61-40 league win over Richlands (Richlands, NC).
