Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) and the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), saw Adams Central's basketball squad overcome Lexington by a tally of 53-42.
With the victory, Adams Central improves its record to 10-11 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE) to confront the Stars in a C1 District 9 challenge on Friday, February 17. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 7-14. Kearney Catholic lost 55-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE)
Next up, the Minutemen confront the Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Lexington will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 11-11 record after their 76-52 league loss to York (York, NE).
