The Appoquinimink Jaguars basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Mount Pleasant Green Knights to 48 in the Jaguars league triumph on Thursday.
The Jaguars now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newark for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Appoquinimink will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 62-54 non-league loss to Conrad Science (Wilmington, DE). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-10.
The Green Knights (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Middletown (Middletown, DE). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Middletown ran past St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE), 64-28, in a league contest.
