The Southington Blue Knights basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Avon Falcons to 45 in the Blue Knights league victory on Thursday.
The Blue Knights now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Lyme for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Southington will battle a Vikings team coming off a 49-41 league loss to Fitch (Groton, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 5-11.
The Falcons (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against New Britain (New Britain, CT). The Golden Hurricanes come into the Central Connecticut - West Colonial contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, New Britain dropped by New London (New London, CT), 68-58, in a non-league contest.
